Well,over 15 years ago,I took up the hammer dulcimer. I learned by ear and noticed most hammer dulcimer cd's had a mandolin player..I liked the sound,but never thought to get one.
So I plugged away...

I agree with you on the uke...It definitely is making a come back..As a hammer dulcimer player,I kept waiting for this instrument to be amplified and being played in bands,but it never happened....

I also have a little cloth pouch that hangs from the head. It has a draw string,so i can close ot.
