    Re: Bag or case

I have a Reunion Blues leather bag. Quite a bit sturdier and much better padded than a simple gig bag. I use this to transport my Kimble the short distance to my partners house. Packed with armrest,...

    Re: Preamp Question

Yeah. I saw a Baggs Venue this morning in the Cafe' classified. Was going to snap it up when I finished golf which of course was too late. I snoozed. I losed.

    Preamp Question

I’m looking for a preamp that will work with more than one type of pickup. My guitar has an LR Baggs Element active. Mandolin has a Barbera saddle transducer, passive. And I have a Myers microphone...
  6. Re: Does your mando need a setup? Learn to do it yourself!

To my horror I discovered my copy went down an unknown rabbit hole on my computer. Rob sent me a new one today. Thanks.

    Re: Grisman Dawg leash?

I just sold mine only because I became scroll-less. For me it took a little adjustment time. Had to learn how to adjust it like a bolo tie. But once I got used to it I did like it. Didn’t love it....

    Reunion Blues A/F Bags

Some time ago Reunion Blues made specific A and F style bags. I presume an A mandolin will fit into the F bag but not necessarily the other way around. Does anyone know if thatís accurate? Thanks

Re: Ellis Archive - We need your help!

    Hey Baron,
When I get a chance in a few days I'll make a sound clip of it amplified and get a few better pics of the pick up install. Will PM you with the results.

Re: Ellis Archive - We need your help!

I have #20. Just got it back from Tom. He updated the tail piece, refretted and did a general set up. A great early example of Tomís brilliance.

    Gotoh Tuners

Does anyone know the difference between Gotoh GT-160-G-F and MF 40-F tuners? Both are gold tone and have MOP buttons. They look pretty much the same in the pictures. Thanks for any insight.

    Re: Ellis Waitlist

And to complicate matters, during the freeze Tom fell and injured his arm. But he’s just about back up to varsity mandomaker form — based on my G2.
