Congrats Terry! Merry Christmas! And welcome to the club!
If you want a good F model,go for "The Loar" LM-600-VS. Great Mandolin for the money! More time and care is taken in construction. I've had Morgan Monroe and Kelley, they don't hold a candle to my 600!
I like the 600 I have,The Neck is thicker than my 01 Flatiron Fest. and I find it easier to play. These are not really huge Necks on the 600s. I think anyone, small hands or large wouldn't have a...
Hi Andy, Will you be going to the Brandon Vt. Festival(Basin Bluegrass Festival)? If so, maybe we could meet up and talk Deneves. Dick usually goes there too.

I have a question for Paul H.--
I used to talk to a sales Rep. at TML when I ordered merchandise for my Store and his name was Paul.Would that have been you?
Okay, Thanks Jim!
Dick may have told me he was one of the first to start using it on contemporary instruments.
Here's a Picture of my Dad with his Redwood Top RD.Dad passed away in 06. Great Guitar picker and Singer he was.
Enigma! Yes, I used to get those when I was a Baby!

Thanks very much Paul!

Yes Allen,I think I remember Dean and I think I played his Deneve one time and that was probably 30 or so years ago and it had a close resemblance to mine.
Hi Steve,
I've heard alot about you!
I'm glad you met Dick, he's a super Guy isn't he? When you see him again tell him Jim Bevins said Hi! That'll surprise him coming from you.
Yes, the inlay with...
I also want to mention that I am in no way trying to sell or solicate when I mentioned copys of recordings, these are free, just help me out with shipping. That's all. Jim
I'm wondering if anyone else here has a Deneve Mando!
I have a 1977 #6. These were built by Richard Deneve back in the 70s and 80s. Dick is a Luthier in the Syracuse,N.Y.(Penneville) area and is a...
I haven't tried the Thomastiks yet. Maybe I will one of these days.I've heard good things about em.
You have a Yellowstone?, I've been admiring them.
Uh! Oh! I hope that MAS don't kick in again!...
Thanks!
That is what I was thinking,2008 and number 34.The other numbers have me baffled also. They may be shop numbers, builder numbers or something.

Thanks Mr. Moderater for that advice,
Being a Person of sound mind and body,I did attempt to contact the Importer. But when it came to the part of the "The Loar" Webpage where it said "contact us",I...
