Your "as received" photo gives me hope that this old Brambilla might be salvageable should my ship ever come in. This was dropped from a shelf in my grandfather's closet by his butterfingered heirs....

Coincidentally, my own plain Jane came from Bernunzio's many years ago. I was in the store and played it against a vintage Gibson mandola (don't recall its specs ... likely an H4). The Vega didn't...
When I obtained an L&H mandola, I called Hoffee to see if they would make a custom case. Not.
I then called Calton. Yes. And after an initial misstep, they provided a magnificent case.
I wonder...

Okay. I have an L&H mandola, label has serial number 11. There is no number on the frame. Sorry if this complicates things even further.
