Is it a hole puncher, for leather? That is a good idea. I could widen it. Or, I could use shoelace to tie it on.
I play by ear, but I can imagine what it must be like to play by sheet music/tabs only. Maybe you should try not using those as much, and see what sounds you can make just from hearing the music in...
