I have been looking thru some pictures of mandos in both F and A styles along with 2 point and any other shapes, just to see what looks good to my eye at my age. One finish I really like...

I almost sold my Northfield NF5S (also pictured) to move into a higher end model. But it's a good mandolin. Kind of hard to move on from.

Instead I got a good deal (I think) on a 2009 Collings...
