I've been using DR MD11's past 2 years and never had this problem, don't use the Gibson extra hook on tailpiece either.
These are louder than the J74s (every bit helps to kill some banjos)....

Nice, I like! I'm going to do the same, what tailpiece did you buy?
I bought a GoldenGate one but it's larger than my 2004 F-9 original cover...
Awesome, already have the Jazzmando V-Pick, mighty curious to add these ones too! :)
Custom order VN yeah, nice case tho, but snowball's chance in hell that was made in SWE unless somebody fell off the IKEA truck :D
Absolutely, mando picker from the UK here will be in attendance.
Hope to bump into some Cafe members, will have to get a cap from Scott in time tho..
Sorting out transport + lodging, useful advice...
Yup, all very true. Pegheads on the A9 and F9s all seem to have great character.
Some of the F9s and A9s with the bland finish, you wouldn't even see much grain.
That said, my blond maple jumbo...
From serial appears to be a 2003 F-9, but is that optical illusion/reflection or is that back not even bookmatched?!

Did some digging, turns out the photo's were exact match with ones from an Ebay listing last year, which was a 2001 Flatiron that sold for $1800. Emailed the seller with this, but no response...
Here's a version of what our band in the UK plays I'd like to share with y'all! :mandosmiley:
