I do some bicycle touring with a folding bike that fits in a suitcase. When the bike comes out the suitcase turns into a trailor. The Sweetpea will fit in the suitcase and a regular size mando will...
I have a sweetpea. A full size mando does sound better, but sometimes you just need something a little smaller. I do some touring by bicycle. I have a folding bike that fits in a suitcase and the...
A guy I worked with brought one back with him from the US a few months ago. It actualy has the feel of a mandolin, enough to be a good practice instrument, when you don't want to make noise to bother...
Still up. This is a popular discription for some reason.
The listing has been removed. #Good on ya, e-bay.
This is the second time this has come up in ebay since I bought it a few months ago. #Same discription and everything. #
They have nothing to sell but the picture. I own the mandolin and it is not...
You should check out Jay Buckey's web site. Besides his "Virtual Band" lessons, he has a lot of free tunes, most with MP3. A lot of the free tunes are in the "Archives" section. ...
I had both Bert Casey's book and Roland White's. If your already playing some mandolin, I think Roland's book is the best. It comes with a cd that plays the tunes both in slow and fast time. I mostly...
Yep, that's a fraud all right. I'm the one that bought that mandolin from Ken a few weeks ago. Maybe I should have waited, looks like I could have got it cheaper from this guy. I suppose he took the...

Don't forget the switches, they must be explosion proof, they are a source of sparks. One solution to the explosion proof lighting I saw in a spray booth was to put sealed plexiglass windown in the...
I put on that download and found it really helpfull. Down side is I likes it so much I wanted to slow down some of my CD's and play with them, so I ended up buying the "amazing slowdown program". So...
I have the DVD and really like it. It is very easy to start and stop and find what you want on it. I use mostly CD's for learning, but I think if you don't have a teacher available that it is a real...
There is an mp3 file for the Tottle book available free on line. I don't have the location here right now, but someone here can give it to you I bet. Or I can find it and post it.
Roland White's book is good. It's available from his website. Nice arangements and styles and comes with a CD with a slow and a faster version of each tune.
Been workin on Milk Cow Blues lately. Nice tune. My wife insists on calling it Mad Cow Blues.
The Weber tailpiece is nice and cheaper than the other two mentioned. I find mine easy to use.
Make sure you have it the right way around. The bass strings have to be on the right side.
Michael Lampert plays some very nice electric jazz mandolin
You may be right about it "sitting right with the wife". I mentioned to my wife that I would like to get a travel mando to take when when we went on holiday and on our bicycle trips, (regular size...
Only mistake I see there is that you asked if you could bring your Rigel along. #You should just bring it. She might say no. #Then you'd have to make a choice. #
Take the advice of an old married...
Good goin Stringbender. If they can't sell them, they won't steal them.
I'm the person in Israel that ordered the tape. And I gota say it's great. Been playin it all the time and it has really got me interested in getting and playing more old time music. I also thought...
