Don, you must report back!
Great pics. Can any idiot (e.g., me) install one of those?
sblock, I appreciate the time you, and others, have taken to post in this and other threads I've started. Lots of good info, for sure. I haven't felt anyone had expressed judgment of me, but, rather,...
But why? I personally don't see the need for judgment or sarcasm.
Please do!
Who knew this thread would generate such controversy? Kinda sorry I started it. On the other hand, I'm glad to know about that tuner that screws onto the back. Haven't decided about trying it, though.
There are lots of things that can be practiced silently. I definitely need to work on those you mention, Jon. Just now I worked on crosspicking and strum patterns.
I have joined this group, posted a question and have received many helpful, and friendly, answers. Thanks, Dick Dery!
Tim, I saved 2 pieces of music today in MuseScore format. The first one I transposed easily following your instructions. The second piece, when I hit Ctrl-A only highlighted a couple of measures. ...
I just joined the Discussion and Support Group. Is that the best one for issues like those in this thread?
So, I've been compiling your comments and will be asking some pretty dumb questions, I suspect. If others might be interested in dumb questions and smart answers, you may want to let me know, either...
Bill, where is the "Browse" page? Is it called that or something else?
That looks interesting. I have the same tuner but with a clip-on base.
Does anyone have one of these?
I just upgraded from the free version, thinking that would solve all my problems. Maybe this weekend I can spend some time figuring things out. The one thing I have not figured out is how to search...
I'm using the "Import PDF" feature under "File" and do a search there. Is there another way to search for music?
How cool is that!
I've just started using MuseScore. I imported a PDF and was able to transpose the piece to a different key. It was so exciting!
Since that time I've imported a couple more pieces. I was able to...
M-m-mando, I was about to jump in and suggest you try playing in 3rd and higher positions where the frets are closer together. After rereading your last comment, though, I say run, not walk, to...
Typo?
I printed a piece of music from MuseScore that has a couple of chords I don't understand:
C(triangle symbol)7
A-
What are these?
After reading all the responses, I had a couple of brilliant suggestions that haven't been mentioned. Then I reread your post. What do you mean by "without absolutely killing my left hand?"
Or we could all send our email addresses to NDO.
Share, Sue!
