  1. Re: Got the neck off, now how do I put it back?

I'm unsure how helpful this will be but Ted Woodford, a luthier in Canada, has what I consider very informative videos showing how he does the work on guitars.

Re: More than a screw loose, it's missing

I am replacing the Grover 409G tuners on my F-5 and you're more than welcome to a screw or two if they will fit. The answer to that is unknown to me.
Drop me a PM if interested.

  6. Re: Backup mandolin pick for when I eventually lose my tortoise p

Well, his answer to you stinks if you ask me. :)But just in case I decide to set fire to the pick what should it smell like?
  7. Re: Backup mandolin pick for when I eventually lose my tortoise p

If I may ask a question, how do you tell if a pick is TS or not? A really old pick came with a bowl back I bought and was just wondering.

    Re: Estate Sale Bowlback

Just did some Google meandering and the consensus is these were made by Stewart and Bauer and sold by Sears in the late 1890's-early 1900's. Jake Wildwood, Bills Banjos and another post on MC all...

The group was known as the Flint-Stones. A gnarly bunch of kids banned from home by their parents for playing with Fire, another band now lost to time.
