I just had a mandolin shipped from Florida via USPS and the 15% duty (HST Sales Tax) had to be paid. The handling fee was $8.00 Canadian.

As far as I know, the only way to get out of paying duty...

Just purchased a new Washburn off a company in Florida. I paid $34.00 US postage to have it shipped USPS and $5.00 US insurance fee. 15% HST was added at the boarder along with an $8.00 handling fee....

Around here, people tie two single shoes together and throw them over the telephone wires or over tree branches.

Drive by to local university around April and there are shoes hanging everywhere.

I just got my new Washburn M3sw and I can't seem to get my Intellitouch to work. Where do you clip your Intellitouch when tuning your mandolin?

I've just reached one of my mandolin goals. I finally purchased a Washburn M3SW.

As soon as it arrives I can get started on goal number 2, learning how to play.

This must seem like I weird question but I've priced that same mandolin (Kentucky KM-630) on several different websites and I've seen several different prices. My questions is, how does on store sell...

I'm trying to find out who made my Alabama mandolin? It's only a few years old and was purchased new but the store doesn't remember where it came from.

I'm in the market for a new mandolin and I'm being drawn towards either a Kentucky. Can somone explain to me the difference between a KM-630 and a KM-620?

I'm guessing the easiest way to convert guitar tabs to mando tabs would be to actually convert the guitar tabs to sheet music. Ok so it my not be the easiest way to do it but I prefer sheet music...
