Purrrrrfect... Now that you've memorized it, play faster!
This is our weekly Thursday night bluegrass jam. Hope you like.
Yes. I'm the colorful thing with a mandolin.

I got the chance to meet them at a local bluegrass festival in Mayville NY a while back. Our bass player even got to use Vicki's bass, 'cause the fool forgot his. Haha. Quite the family. Vicki's...
Weddings make for snazzy pictures with mandolins.http://photos-b-0.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs231.snc1/7830_164312780925_535195925_4069961_5680463_n.jpg
Very cool. Haha and sorry Allen he only does it for me. And I agree with you Rtan. Neither of them have been repaired yet. Still waiting. I know its probably a waste of time but still. Why the heck...
Yeah. I've noticed that too. I absolutely still love mine though. That's all that matters hahaha
So our festival (Mayville Bluegrass Festival) started off with a raging thunder storm and it poured continuously throughout the entire first day of the festival. There was flooding in cetain areas...
I can't stop drooling. Absolutely a masterpiece. Happy Pickin'!!!!
Adam
Yeah I was blown away by my bluechip. I only use the tuff tone when i want my mando to sound a bit thicker and buttery. I do admit 35 bucks is kinda high for a pick, but if it makes me pick a hair...
That only happens to mandolin players who play with too many b**jo players.
:))
Well, the cool thing is that I work at a music store that does repairs. My boss is more than willing to do the work because he thinks it'll be fun. So I'm going to see what happens when they're done....
Thanks guys! This is the most information I've ever gotten on a thread! haha!
Adam
Fantastic looking mandolin! Cant wait for the sound clips! The tail piece is truly exquisite. A applaud your creativity sir!
Adam
Extremely nice mandolin Dale! Definitely doesn't look like a first. Keep up the good work. Time for a youtube video. Or find someone with some decent recording equipment! Haha!
Adam
I know a local Weber dealer. (Jim Holler at Trinity Guitars) I should go see if he has any mandolas.
The Weber Gallatin makes me drool. Yummy!
Thanks!!!!
HOLY DUDENBOSTEL BATMAN!
I don't know if I'm good enough (Me=~:>) to maintain his fantastic reputation as a builder. Plus I'm not a serious mandola player. Just kind of a trial. If I get anything...
thanks guys! I really appreciate it. I'd love to research all day on mandolas but my arse would be entirely too numb... hahaha
I was just asked (not more than a half hour ago) if I wanted these two mandolins. I don't even know if they are worth repairing. I really just wanted to show them off. Haha. And see if anybody had...
YAY! New reading material. Just what my girlfriend wanted.... :whistling:
Thanks!!!
Adam
Hmmm... Usually when I see and instrument I "need" it's normally out of my price range. For this one I'd probably just go see what I "need" then go make the dough so I could afford it. Haha. Damn...
Someday, probably in the far far future, I'm hoping to buy a mandola. Anyone know of any good mandola luthiers? I'm trying desperately not to sound ignorant but it doesn't seem to be working. I know...
Cool. Glad to hear some people have played them. I'm still sold on my blue chip too Kevin. Luckily I don't lose too many a pick. Thank God for pick holders!!
Time to go hug your mando. It might make you feel better!
Yummy.. my mouth just started to salivate with the thought of more mandolins. What euphoric bliss.
