    The original owner requested CGEG tuning and it was delivered strung .044"w/.030"w/.017"/.014". For more typical mandola CGDA tuning, I might suggest .044"w/.030"w/.020"w/.012".

    Here is the second of the fretless experiments, a 6-course (11-string) guitar/oud hybrid. It, too, has a 23" scale, Sperzel tuners and nylon strings. It has a fixed bridge design and 5 flush frets....
