Cool! Hope you have fun with it!
Head on over. It’s there now!
Thank you Tucker. It’s at The Music Emporium in Lexington, MA
Thank you Chris. The bridge is adjustable with a wrench that I include. The bridge on this one is made from Sonowood maple.211891

Yes Chuck I use Sonowood on my mandolin family instruments, Sonowood and Corene on my violin family instruments. I think they are superior materials. Eric at Thermal Wood sent me a sample of their...
Not sure when you’re planning a trip here but judging by your list of preferences my latest mando is at TME and may be up your alley

That’s quite a short scale length for a C course. I’d be inclined to use a single string instead of a pair. And it will have to be quite heavy.

Thanks Derek, the finish is a rosin/amber/mastic/linseed oil varnish. It’s the same stuff I use on all my violin family builds.
Thanks Paul! I don’t have sound samples of these 2. Here’s one of the last mando and it sounds quite similar to the latest one. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ANqd0uyeB-s

I’ll be finishing a round hole A soon and sending it off to TME if a longer scale, 14.37,” and larger body, 11.5,” is something you want to explore. Please delete this and correct me if this kind of...
Have you called Blue Heron? They have loads of patterns and will make them whatever depth you want.
Yes they’re in Roanoke. I was there as well for 7 years until moving to Philadelphia in January. It’s a fun town with a good session, it’s cool you’re from there! Hope you enjoy the octave!
