i ordered a custom pick from BC at stigma back in feb....i guess the pick has been lost in the mail.......the rounded tips of a SR ..but the size of a CT...its rough..so im back on my TAD 3 R 35.....
im currently waiting on a custom BC pick.....the shape of a SR which has rounded tips and the size of a CT...the CT i have is large...and i dont like the points and its a 55....my new pick will be...
i think they both sound very good....are they solid tops or laminate...ive not seen any solid top strads...but im sure they exsist....thanx
ive only been to one in knoxville, but its a great event..ill be there with my lowly fern and a herring bone....its a fantastic event

i recomend the akg c1000 dont cost alot ...reliable ..tough ..good sound

i have a old f-5...i think a couple of frets are out of position...and it drives me bonkers ....frets 2 and 4....making it all blend with bridge position seems impossible...
i only use the vintage seiko tuners with a wire...st -900 909 800 or sat 501....

i always change the cast tp back to a cheapo stamped tp....felt and a piece of leather prevent any rattling...and a pair of pliers to adjust the cover seem to work well....its not rocket science
its not the holy grail by any stretch but i got my 29 fern (by trad estimates ) in 2005 its a good one ...itll have to do i guess, i always have secondary mandolins .....i sold my 2012 f-5 gibson to...

I have a gibson fern and a ky km1000 that i really like beating on....i been playing the ky at jamms but always wish id a brought the fern....but i dont have to worry about the ky....im on the hunt...

I like and use the vintage Seiko tuners (900) from the 90s with a needle indicator...and I will also use the smaller Seiko digital tuners (501 )...and the 800 series with the rubber corners ..all...
I called bob and he said he has never made mandolin tuner buttons.......
