  5. Re: Wrapping strings around tuners too many times restringing?

I posted Roger's stringing method in response to the original post after it came with a set of his strings I had bought. It uses the fewest wraps that I have tried. I've had 2 to 6 and never had a...
  6. Re: Wrapping strings around tuners too many times restringing?

I have recently used Roger Siminoff's method found on the Straight Up Strings web site which wraps very few times. I was a bit skeptical at first but I have not had any problems.

  12. Re: John Ramsey(ave guitars, formly Tejonstreet music) retiring

I bought a Flatiron A5-JR from John in 1991 and always wanted a "The Ramsey" F5. A lot of the working musicians along the Colorado front range played them. Good Luck John!

  14. Re: If you DIDN'T win the MT, what was your actual entry?

    My entry was:

    Goccia di Pioggia

The reason for this name is to honor the Italian heritage of the mandolin as well as the shape of the A style instrument. Goccia di pioggia means raindrop in...

Re: Anyone else have a Kentucky KM-850?

Glad to see 17603 found a new home. I sold it off in December 2012 and I think it went to a fellow near Nashville.

Heck I was in San Antonio yesterday.
