THAT'S a road trip. Beauty...congrats!
Thanks Hudmister!
Possibly worlds dumbest question...guilty!
Do we think the oval on a Kentucky KM-270, 272, 276 etc.is the same size as the oval on the Kentucky KM-670?
TIA!
Way, way more experienced mando players than me here chiming in but yeah...you do have light strings on as opposed to mediums which will make a difference and yeah it does appear on the single note...
That is beautiful...very exciting. Congrats!
How's the new mando? Enquiring minds!
Hahaha...oh yeah that. The phillips head saddle screws also are slanted downwards which is less than optimal I'm thinking. This model used to come with a different bridge with only two saddles, 4...
Yeah man...that sounds very nice.
Hello friends,
Alright people, somebody tell me about this. Tweaking a friend's Mandocaster. Cool little mini-Tele style. Taking the action down for her, losing a little relief, lowering the...
That song always makes me cry.
Well, the idea of tracks or no tracks in general of course can be debated forever but she said she likes the idea of playing along with recorded music so...

Wow...beauty!
Congrats...pics or it didn't happen. :)

That's purdy...congrats!
Hey maxr, thanks - shall do! My reaction is a bit uhh premature no doubt but I'm hangin' on to it. I put some GHS A270s on, the wound strings do seem a bit brighter than EJ74s but they're new. I'm...
That is very sweet...congrats!
Hey there thanks for checking in,
All valid points. I did record myself with a few different picks. I have a decent recording rig & yeah, it sounded okay despite my playing. :) I also had a...
I’m back!
Well, I’m about a week in with the 315, hardly at all I know. Lowered the bridge a hair on the bass side, tried some lights to get it out of my system then combined Medium trebles,...
Doing so! Thanks A-board.
Greetings,
A friend of mine just bought a Northfield Archtop Octave, although a different build from yours and a longer scale at 22", their sets are a little bolder than the EJ80s.
Archtop...
