Yup. I'm not shopping for a mandolin now, but I'd never want one that needs a battery. When I'm playing amplified, I like to just plug and play.

I'd probably trust Guitar Center with setting up a guitar. But mandolin is trickier and in less demand, so there's a chance your Guit Center tech will be winging it.

Can't see why. There must be something going on. Anyhow, I don't mind the change. It makes sense. I come here to look at mandolins. It's the best. There are plenty of other places to look at guitars.
