Re: "The Mandolin Meets Vivaldi" in NE Ohio

That was weird. Metal cone plays Vivaldi. I think he was going for more volume, but played so softly it didn't matter.

    See attachment.
I transposed the Cello line to treble clef. Very easy on mandolin or Octave mandolin

    Re: New Bickford Mando-cello Method

That's great. It looks like p.10 but even better. Page numbering would be nice.

Using the Bass clef, I think would be more in demand.
It would force us who use transposed versions, to practice...

Re: Original music for SOLO Mandocello

Like I wrote earlier, this is directly from Bickford bk, transposed universal to bass clef

When I play it through the computer it sounds not quite right to me.

You may have to change a 1/8 note...

Here's the Trolley Polka from Bickford p.44

It seems to me that the first two notes should be pickup notes, some editing is needed to make it fit.

    Another solo/duet from Bickford171061
It might work better as a mandola piece because of the long stretch fingering

Re: What are fair prices for used mandolin books?

    Zach,
    I'll let you know.

I'm still not sure what are fair prices for books that are 30-40 years old and out of print.
Some to these may have only sold for $5 new.

    Re: Music for Quartet

Here's the mandola part, transposed so you play a mandola pretending it's a mandolin.
