A solo act with mandolin is tough for a lot of folks, keep at it and very sorry about your Mother.
I have played both at Fiddlers Green as a matter of fact been awhile but if I was in the market for an A style between those two it would be the Pava.

You got a mandolin you liked let's say a $7k mandolin not the most expensive but a pretty good instrument.
