    to a Neutrik Mic cable end with a ring switch .. Made to mute mics without an internal switch..

    the capo type was made for Banjos, the 4 of 5 or a tenor. they tend to have flat fingerboards..

    FWIW, Soprano Mandolins are tuned CGDA, octave higher than Mandolas.. they're tuned up safely by being a shorter scale ..

    the bowed Bass Viol and Cello do seem to dominate & carry stronger than the row of mandolins in the recording..


    but a nice effort closer Mic-ing the mandolin section may have helped ..
