  1. Re: New San Bush album focuses on John Hartfiord tunes

Entirely fitting that it is on the Smithsonian label.
First tune I learned on guitar( and probably the only one I can still play) was Presbyterian Guitar, I hope it’s in there.

    Re: Wagon Wheel help?

    Thanks Cheryl
A pattern of D DU U DU was recommended but to me but that is a hard one for me as someone with little to no strumming experience — but is that an appropriate pattern?

    Re: Interesting crack on shopgoodwill?

So, I know nothing about repair, would this require taking the back or the front off and cleating the side and the back crack?

    Interesting crack on shopgoodwill?

The Gibson mandolin on the shopgoodwill sight has what I think is an interesting crack.
I wasn’t sure whether to post on the EBay, Craigslist thread or here. But since it will surely go for more...

Re: Tell me about Wernick Method Jam Camp

    Sue,
Would you mind posting about your experience afterwards ? As a fellow “playing at the beginning of Covid” beginner, I’d be very interested to know your opinion of the camp. I’m going to set...

    Re: Easy playing strings

So, I bought the Calhoun directly from Northfield. I’d assume it was set at 2/32” if that is the conventional thing. If I put on the extra lights I’d not likely need to make an adjustment but might...

    Easy playing strings

I’m working on a tune (Drowsy Maggie) that requires barring the D and A strings at the second fret. Unfortunately, my arthritic old fingers are having a tough time of it. So, I’m wondering what is...
