How many Draleon Royales are there?

I know there are some enthusiasts for this cult favorite on here. I got lucky and have one in transit. How many were made? What other trivia do you have for the Draleon Royale?
  4. Re: Best Mandolin for Traveling From Sea Level to High Desert?

Klos Guitars says they’re coming out with a carbon fiber unit. Hoping it’s a Tacoma style flat top for price.

    Re: Tacoma Mandolins

Just got a mint M3E that's gorgeous, and sounds really nice. It's so nice I feel bad using it as a traveller.

Re: Better machines give better sustain?

They’re easier to tune, thus courses are in closer tune, thus boss sustain.

  10. Re: Chord learning paralysis - getting over the initial hump

Tim Connell taught me a comp to memorize every chord in about a week. I’m still nailing it in but it’s as easy as a scale. Shoot him an email.
  11. Re: Historical info on a Weber Big Horn, D hole, 2 point #5176008

I don’t really think of it as an unfortunate mishap, maybe an unfortunate misunderstanding that The Mandolin Store has a policy of charging customers to restock a mandolin that didn’t arrive in...
  12. Re: Historical info on a Weber Big Horn, D hole, 2 point #5176008

Yes, this one. It was probably damaged enroute to me. That’s some of the history of this mandolin.
  13. Re: Historical info on a Weber Big Horn, D hole, 2 point #5176008

I’m just annoyed I had a valid reason to return and was charged a restocking fee, even after discussing over the phone “no money out of pocket.” The video available when I test rode had no...
  14. Re: Historical info on a Weber Big Horn, D hole, 2 point #5176008

If hypothetical you were to receive this mandolin, advertised as excellent condition, and you discovered the separation, would it be fair of TMS to still charge you a 5% restocking fee? Because that...
