I just checked Houston weather and at 11pm it was 76 degrees and 86% humidity. We don't use the heater but sparsley,in jan& feb , small amount in December. ive never had cracks...

I got a of premier& a crossover, the width is there ,, but way more shallow profile than the LM 290 , I have now.
I had a big muddy w/ 1/4 nut it was nice. If it will give you the sound you like.
I guess I was slow, but it took me almost a year to claw and drop thumb good. But once you got it you got it. Tried 3 finger,didnt like it. ymmv
