In G.
Works well with CGDA tuning.
I don't like Bruce Springsteen but I've learned to not mention that in my circle of friends.
But this is a wonderful place of discussion. I like A's also.
get an EQ pedal. Even a cheap one makes a difference.

Just bought some based on your recommendation. They will be here in a few days.
I haven't added to "The Pick Museum" in quite a while so I'm looking forward to it.
Pro Plec 1.5 BTW are awesome.
I've been using Finale Notepad (the free version) for years.
It's quirky and has limitations but it suits me fine.
Works on Win 7 don't know what else.
...
Sweet looking instrument.
Well done.
I've been playing the Prelude on a baritone uke CGDA.
It's amazing how much tone you can get from those little boxes with a light touch.

I really like these.
Still waiting for my F Style Baritone Uke. Almost two months now.
It's behind schedule, but there is a world wide pandemic going on after all.
Hard to complain.
I asked Bruce to send me some...
Beautiful.
I'm splitting my time between the Bach Prelude and a Vivaldi movement.
Anything to silence the TV.
When I was a kid this was a big hit on top 40 radio.
I will.
He supposed to send me plans for approval soon. If it's worth looking at I'll post them.
I've got an Eastwood Airline Mandola. Low price high quality.
The mandos look very tempting.
I have to push down harder than I would like to get a clean (buzz free) note.
Nothing wrong with the setup.
I'm older now and don't want to fight with my instruments.
A friend of mine plays it...
FWIW
I'm wrapping up the busking season here in NYC (man it's cold).
I started in May and did it 2 or 3 times a week for the last 7 months.
I learned a lot also (as Chris Calley above said)....
According to my bathroom scale 3.2 lbs
It lighter than my Eastwood E Mandola & heavier than my Epiphone MM-30 mandolin.
It's has a solid feel to it.
Mandolin never happened for me even after years of trying.
Mandola is just perfect in every way.
A non musician woman a few weeks ago asked me why my mandolin had a deeper voice.
It was nice to...
I've been busking with mine all summer and yeah the reaction has been enthusiastic to my tiny guitar.
My EDola has a very "woody" sound to it through a Blackstar amp and some eq.
It's really unique. Not like a guitar at all.
I love Brooklyn.
There is no place like it.
It's so not like Manhattan yet close by.
