Default What brand tuners are these

The mandolin was built in 85-86. I am missing a bushing on the top A string. I would like to know what make these are and if tuner bushings are available. The tuners seem to be in good shape, all screws are snug. They turn smooth, but seem pretty sloppy. Thanks for any help.

They are Gotoh tuners. Somebody might have an extra bushing laying around. In the time period since this was built Gotoh has made some changes to their tuners. I honestly don't know if that includes the bushings or not. That is all assuming the tuners haven't been changed in the years between when it was built and now. Those are worm over F style tuners if you decide to replace them. You don't want worm under.

I probably have a bushing for you. Please let me know if you still need one.
    Best regards

Thank you, Mike. Gotoh was my guess but wasn't sure. To my knowledge they are original to the mandolin.

Charles, Thank you. I will send you a PM.

I have hundreds of these bushings, if you haven't already found one.

Andrew - I'm guessing you're not a fan of the Gotoh bushings either. I like the tuners, but their bushings are a bit large, high, and rounded above the surface.
