    Default New Big Muddy MW-0

    Hi all,

Mike Dulak currently has a Big Muddy MW-0 (Walnut/Spruce) in the works for me. It has a standard neck (1-1/8″ nut, 13-7/8″ scale), standard body size (not jumbo), plus a few special features I requested:

    • top binding
    • radiused ebony fretboard
    • Golden Age brass tuners with black buttons
    • AR-2 Allen un-polished un-plated bronze tailpiece

I think it looks great and I'd like to share a few "making of" pictures that Mike sent me with you...

    Peter

Congrats! Those Golden Age brass tuners with black buttons look really good. Mike makes a great mandolin and is a great guy as well.

Looks nice! Mike put an ebony fretboard on my Mid-Missouri octave mandolin; I kinda like it!
    You will enjoy your mandolin.

Actually, I was torn between the MW-0 and the M-11... Not sure why I decided to get the MW-0 in the end... I guess I would be equally happy with the M-11.

And, as Mike informed me, the MW-0 with binding was originally designated MW-1...
