Default Gretsch re-making a cloud tailpiece of sorts

    Hi.
Not vintage, but it would be a nice replacement for a missing cloud mandolin tailpiece, since originals are so costly and hard to find.
It isn't a base-and-cover style, just one-piece, but looks the part, right?
I'm don't know who makes them for Gretsch, but be on the lookout, ok!

When that mandolin came out the style was discussed here. It's nice but it would be nicer if they just made the Waverly Cloud tailpiece.

Oh, so this is "old" news?
Sorry for the re-hash. I just now saw the model on the market.
Surely this is made by the same shop that makes the "shell" model that is available thru Stewmac?

I would think that Gretsch bought or contracted to have these made in Asia. Just my guess.
