Default Monster Mandolin player in a video game!

I'm not a really big gamer, but I saw the game "My Singing Monsters" for Kindle Fire on Amazon and gave it a try. It's free, but you can make in-app purchases for real money if you're in a hurry to get ahead. It's also available for iPad and iPhone. I'm taking my time and playing for free. It's surprisingly fun, as you breed and raise monsters to populate several musical "islands". Each monster adds his/her/its own part to the island's song
Turns out that there's a monster named Shugabush which plays a mandolin:

He was suggested by a real mandolin player:"The name "Shugabush" is a portmanteau of the band Sugarland and its vocalist Kristian Bush, who became a fan of the game after watching his son play. Bush got in touch with the developers to collaborate on a new character and provided the vocals and mandolin part for the Shugabush."

BTW-- your data is stored in the cloud, so if you play at home on a Kindle, you can check your progress and make changes via iPhone. The execution of this game is really beautiful, and full of surprises. Yesterday, when I visited my "Cold Island" I found that it had been fully decorated for Christmas!

Whats the big deal? My brother did exactly that back in the 80's.

I might have to sneak that app. onto my wife's Kindle when she isn't looking.
