    Default Tusq picks form Graph Tech

    I am familar with "Tusq" being used for nut and saddle material, has any one tried their picks? Any thoughts?

    From what I've read they sound good but wear very fast

    Yes they wear VERY fast! You'll notice the wear straight away!

    I`ve been using them for about 6 months and really like them. They are relatively stiff for their thickness. I`m using them on my mowry f hole strung with thomastik heavy strings and I find my picking seems more precise at faster tempos and I like the tone i get. Had previously used dunlop ultex 0.74

    I tried some. Thin picks and very rigid. I didn't care for them.

    I wrote to them and they sent me a sample. I think I just tried it a few times and it was all right.
