    Moon's site says:

    Strings: .010 .018 .022 .032 .042 ~ for tuning DADGD
    42 seems very light for a low D on a 23.5 in scale?

    I was going to go OM tuning with a high g, is it going to cope with 46-12 with maybe 10s or 9s on the high g?

    I'd ask Moon about that. They're likely to err on the side of caution, so they won't approve a 46-12 set if they have any doubt that the cittern can handle it.

    It arrived suffering top distortion unfortunately, see thread in repairs section so the quest continues for a large bodied OM/cittern type thing ...
