Thread: Jacobson Nautilus #24 - Built for Bluegrass

Default Jacobson Nautilus #24 - Built for Bluegrass

Here's #24, ready to make its way up north to Kris, who has been very patiently waiting for it.

This one's intended for bluegrass. This is the first Nautilus with a 15th-fret neck joint. It has a very lightweight redwood top, paired with a deeper body than I usually use.
It's slightly more percussive than my 12-fret models, but the tone is more traditional in flavor and it keeps the tone coming up way past the 12th fret.

Glad you like it so far, Kris. I look forward to hearing how you like it once you've had the chance to get to know it a bit.

Here you go, Eric.. not sure how I forgot those. Nice wood from Bruce Harvie on this one.
