I started using my Smartphone to capture the work I do learning new songs so I can refer to it later rather TAB it out, and I just started working on the elements of Delbert Clintons “Every Time I Roll the Dice”. Here is the source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7tFeVLNH5E
If you watch the watch the YT videos, it will become apparent quickly that I am a guitarist not a mandoliner. What may not be obvious is that the mandolin has sadly begun it’s decent into neck-hump-disease; the higher form D and hammered on G chords choke out a bit. My technique is bad, but the hump is a big issue right now as well (this is my backup/office mando).
Here are a few, warts and all. Again these are not full run throughs or song performances; it is just me working on the intro, verse and chorus parts.
Here is day one, take two:

And today’s too long attempt with some revoicings and looking for the accents:

Cool tune, and maybe you guys already make these ‘workout’ videos, it just dawned on me. Comment on the playing too, I am sure not bragging about it.
