Thread: March Mandolin Festival almost full

  1. #1

Default March Mandolin Festival almost full

Folks, we've only got 10 student spots left for this year's festival, and they're going fast. Very excited to have a stellar lineup of teacher/performers: Joe Walsh, Marla Fibish, Eric McDonald and myself. We have also adjusted the schedule a bit to allow for more jam time and social time Saturday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing old and new friends there.

Thanks for bailing me out, Scott. I meant to paste a link, and then spaced it. I am sure what our friend from Montana meant to say was, “Could you please attach a link or provide some contact info?”, if I am reading between the lines correctly.

Best festival dedicated to all things mandolin west of the Mississippi...(did I spell that right?).....worth the flight from any destination.

I saw David and his wife play in, oh, I think it was August, 2012 north of York, Maine (was it the Ogunquit Museum?). They were great! I had only been taking mandolin lessons for 6 months at that point, but enjoyed hearing a real pro play the instrument live for the first time. I'm still taking mando lessons, and hope to come up to the festival one of these years. bb

I was in Concord New Hampshire about 2 months ago. Nice part of the world. I recommend the Days Inn.

I think David has had the Courtyard Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Concord set aside some rooms for the festival.

Here I thought I was pretty information savvy BUT I can't seem to find the amount of the tuition anywhere. Looks like you have to go through registration to see the bill. What is the total cost?

Sorry folks, we are all full! Still tix for the evening concerts, though. Hope to see some of you there.
