Default Nuala Kennedy Band with Iain Macleod on mandolin

I ran across this clip from a link on the Chiff and Fipple flute forum. It's a performance by Irish/Scottish flute player Nuala Kennedy with a tune set she wrote, backed by a band including Ian Macleod on mandolin (looks like a Sobell?).

He does a great job following Nuala's flute line in one of these crossover "Celtic/Eastern European" tunes where the rhythm isn't straight 4/4. I love the look on the guitar player's face in the clip... "Am I on the beat?"

Great video, thanks! Nuala Kennedy is supposed to teach at the Swannanoa Gathering's Celtic Week in NC this July, and I can't wait to hear her in person.

Very timely; Nuala's coming to our place this Saturday, but left Iain at home, unfortunately! This is a great video. Check out one's where Nuala's singing, she's got a beautiful voice..
