    Default Bushings for kit, help?

Ok, here's the problem. I have been putting together the iv a style mandolin kit, so far so good. However, here's the issue, I had a gold tail piece I installed, looks great. So I ordered these ping gold tuners

    http://www.amazon.com/Ping-A-Style-M...+bushings+gold

But, as I didn't notice until I opened them..no bushings? Odd. I have the nickel ones from the kit, but that looks strange. I can't seem to find after market gold bushings that should fit. The nickel bushings are 5/16ths? Can't find anything out there that is close to that size.

Hopefully one of you guys has an idea? Thanks!

Have you already drilled the holes, or are the holes pre-drilled in the kit? If not, you can get bushings from Stewmac and other suppliers. Seems to me they owe you a set of bushings, though, if the tuners were supposed to come with bushings.

Just use them, they'll be fine. Really.

What is the material of the nickel bushings? If they are brass, just polish then until the nickel goes away and they will be gold. Size of the hole in the bushings is not critical if it's not too small for the post and holes in headstock are drilled at correct distances.

StewMac has a few different kinds of gold bushings, so you should be able to find what you're looking for.

It would appear that he isn't owed any bushings. Take a look here. Will any of these bushings help?

That's the same thing I saw Mike.. AFTER I bought and opened the darn package! Who sells tuners without bushings? That's like Christmas cookies without sprinkles or raisins without wrinkles!
