Thread: Login times out before I can post!

Default Login times out before I can post!

    Hi Scott,
Not sure if this is a setting on my end or not? Haven't tried from our laptop yet. Responding to posts even 30 sec after logging I will produce an error saying I don't have permission.

    Thanks,

    Scott

When you login, make sure you check the box that says "Remember Me" before you submit. Most people on the forum are logged in for months at a time without having to log back in continually.

See attached and Remember Me box.

I often forget to remember to click on the Remember Me box myself, and get logged out during the composing process. One thing I've learned, when composing a lengthy post that may have taken a long time to write, is to select all and copy before clicking the post button. Occasionally I will have exceeded the time limit and been logged out in the meantime, and by doing this I will have saved all that work.

Thanks JBear-I was used to it timing out during longer responses, but it had started doing it after as little as 30 sec. Dumping my desktop link (Internet Explorer) and using Chrome or Firefox seems to eliminate the trouble so far (Duh, should'a had a V8).
