Does anyone know where I can purchase/download Dagger Gordan's Albums "Highland Mandolin" and "The Frozen River"?

Hopefully it will get posted here. I would love to buy some more of this guy's stuff.

Love his music. The Scottish Mandolin Tutor book/CD set is great, too.

    Hi,

Thanks for your interest. Ben has been in touch with me.

Highland Mandolin originally came out as a cassette in 1989 and was remastered and released as a CD in 2001, so it's quite old. I haven't done anything about downloading it, but I think I probably should. I should think it's out there somewhere though.

Because my own existing stock of Highland Mandolin CDs is very small indeed, I would encourage anyone interested in buying a copy to try to source one from a mail order company just to use them, otherwise they might throw them out soon I should think!
I have plenty Frozen River CDs however, and can easily send you one if you want.

I haven't paid much attention to marketing any of my stuff for quite a while, but I think I need to change. I got a film maker to do some videos of me recently. He hasn't finished editing yet but they shouldn't be long. Time for a website - or at least a Facebook page!

I continue to be quite active though. You may have noticed elsewhere on MC that I'm teaching a mandolin workshop in Aberdeen on March 22. Come along if you can. Last I heard quite a lot of people had signed up.

    Thanks a lot,

    Dagger
