A few months ago, I actually saw this on the Turner Classic Movies Network one night channel surfing during a rare bout of insomnia. I didn't have the presence of mind to hit the VCR, so I'm glad to see it's accessible.
This clip is part of a larger mini-feature, I'm guessing between 20-25 minutes long. It was used as filler between movies on the cable station. The whole thing was basically a Dave Apollon "Ham-it-up, burlesque" showcase, thin on plot, extreme overacting, but deliciously fun mandolinning.
No idea on when they'd rebroadcast the whole thing...

Here's two more Dave A videos, Sweet Sue and Two Guitars.

I've had his CD in my work truck for about a month now. I love this guy. Thanks for the link, Gary. I see he doesn't use a strap. -Neal

Thats great neal. I didnt know that Apollon ever played a Lyon and Healy. He never looks at his mandolin while he is playing.
Thats confidence. Love that Sweet Sue....Gary
