    I'm just the opposite. I can't stand what the bevel does to the tone on my mandolin. I use a custom ordered Wegen TF180 with no bevel for mandolin and a Planet Waves celluloid 1.25mm for guitar. Exact same shape and size just different thickness and material.

    I have a tray beside me with about 12 different picks and toss a few in my pocket when i go play. I like the golden gate for mandolin most of all but I change around on guitar depending what I am playing
