    Great list, Adam!

By the way...CMSA members have access (via the CMSA website) to 19 mandolin orchestra pieces compiled by Joyce Adams as a sort of Mandolin Orchestra Starter Kit. Our orchestra, the Minnesota Mandolin Orchestra, has played some of these from time to time over its 20+ years. I'd say these are tunes that have stood the test of time!

A good reason for orchestra leaders and others to join to have access to these timeless works!

I'd be amiss not to mention a few excellent ways to "network" in the US around mandolin ensemble performance.

River of the West Mandolin Camp: http://www.mandoberlin.com/river-west-camp.php
San Diego Classical Mandolin Camp: http://www.sdclassicalmandolincamp.com/
Summerkeys Music Camp (including mandolin): http://summerkeys.com/
Mandolin Symposium in Santa Cruz: http://www.mandolinsymposium.com/
And the 2014 Classical Mandolin Convention in Portland Oregon: http://www.classicalmandolinsociety....convention.asp

Apologies to anyone if I missed your venue. These are all excellent opportunities to participate in a world of classical, jazz, swing, and other genres!

Let's don't forget the great Carlo Aonzo Manhattan Mandolin Workshop which happens next month.

Everyone I've talked to who has attended one of these annual events raves about it.

If you can get Charlie Rappaport to grant you access to the PMO Member section of the Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra site, the sheet music he has there is extensive.

John do you know Charley? Would you be able to introduce me to him? I did send a request a couple days ago but have not heard back. Thanks!
