instructions for attaching an audio file?

I've been trying to attach an audio file for some help identifying the tune, but I've had no luck adding the attachment. Is there a place on the site that might explain the process or explain what sort of files are required? Thanks

Same instructions as attaching an image. Here's a video tutorial on how to. Check the size of the file. If you're getting over 10-12MB you're likely going to experience problems related to connection speed that have nothing to do with this site. Without checking I believe we've set the limit around 18MB max.

Thanks, Scott. Wish I'd found that tutorial long ago! I think I had finally figured out how to post pictures on my own and with help from other members, and I was essentially using that method to try to attach the audio file. I'm probably even dumber about audio files than I am visual images. When I try to attach the audio file, I get a message that the file is an "Invalid File." The name of the file is 88Lucinde.wav It is only a small file. Do I need to somehow alter the TYPE of file? Is the "wav" suffix the problem? Thanks

Only MP3 and midi files are supported.

.wav is not supported which is why it says invalid file type.
