Default Recordings of Somewhere Over the Rainbow

My wife and daughter recently heard a version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow (i believe on Pandora). They said that mandolin figured very largely in it. Can people point me towards mandolin recordings of this song? Thank you all in advance!

I played this at a wedding last summer. My instructor created an arrangement for me that is quite nice. I can upload a copy of it for you at some point.

Rob Beck covered John Reischman's arrangement here:

I love the Ukulele version by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s . You might have heard it if you've seen the movies Meet Joe Black, 50 First Dates, Finding Forrester, or the TV shows Scrubs and So You Think You Can Dance. Would like to hear the mando version if you can find who recorded it.

    Dave Ferguson and Friends.

Some Country Gazette guys on it including Roland White.
Great dobro by Dan Huckabee. One of the first bluegrass I got, in a shop in Evergreen, Colorado on my first trip to the USA in the seventies.

You got in before me David !. I saw Dave Ferguson with Country Gazette down at the Cambridge Folk Festival many years ago. He'd just taken over fiddle duties from Byron Berline.Roland White was playing mandolin. That's where i saw my first Stelling banjo & the Mark Leaf case that Alan Munde had. I swore that if i carried on playing,i'd have the same one day & in 1989 i got my Stelling banjo & in '92,i got my ML case. I took a lot of colour slide photos of CG & found them several weeks ago.I put them somewhere safe, intending to get them put onto CD & then post a few pics. on here - i haven't been able to find them since !!!,

Chris, if you don't mind, I would be very interested in seeing the .pdf file too, to see how close I was, and also, I was never sure of the chords he plays at the end. Many thanks
