Default Free Matt Flinner lesson this Saturday

    Hi folks,

I'll be doing a free hour-long online lesson this Saturday, June 7 at 11 am CDT. It'll sort of be a preview of the upcoming Summer Intensive Courses I'm teaching this month. We'll look at some exercises and learn a new tune, and by the end of the hour we'll have entwined all of the material into a big happy transglobal jam.
The lesson is open to players of all ability levels, though I would say "intermediate" level players will likely get the most out of it. I'll be incorporating material that I feel is beneficial regardless of one's ability level, though. Feel free to come and ask questions or just lurk and check it out. Here's where you can find more info: http://www.mattflinner.com/2014/06/f...n-saturday-67/

And here's where you can go to register: https://attendee.gototraining.com/r/8223171956743010561

Email me at matt@mattflinner.com if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    Matt Flinner

    Hi Matt,

Wow, this is great! I'll be logging in from Moscow (sans mandolin, unfortunately) to check it out.

Looking forward to it. I'm excited to try online lessons.

It looks like at that time of the lesson all we have to do is go to the link that we received once we've registered? Easy! I figured we'd have to download some program.

9lbShellhamer: there is a software we use from Citrix which provides the interface. It takes a few seconds to download when you log in at that link. I'll be signing in a little early (about 10:30 central) and would encourage you to do the same (or at least a few minutes early) to check it out and make sure it's running smoothly. See you tomorrow!
    Thanks,
    Matt

Matt says the lesson should be up on his website later tonite or tomorrow. Good thing, I had to bail about 1/2 way thru. What I did get in was good, Matt does a great job.
