    Beautiful thing. A smurf before smurf was cool. I suppose the owner does not want to ship it and is going for local sale? If not he could probably get a lot of traffic/interest posting it on the Cafe Classifieds?

    That's amazing. I've seen a couple of mandolas in that style, but never a 'cello. The Larsons were Olympians in the American stringed instrument pantheon, right up there with Martin and Gibson but rarer and quirkier.
