Looks snazzy! I got to play one of those once, and really enjoyed it.

One of my bucket list mandos. I love the tone of course, but also the coloration is just super snazzy. Darker than natural/blond, but light enough to rally showcase the woods.

Yes, it is a beautiful looking mandolin, but the tonal quality is what made this a must-have for me. My Custom Vintage A is a beautiful mandolin with an incredible sound but I never felt it produced a percussive chop. The Yellowstone has a very "woody" sound...I guess people refer to it as "bark". I figured it would be a good move to have mandolins with very different tonal qualities.

Very nice Lorraine! There is one listed in the classifieds that has a beautiful Maple back, I would think that the wood in yours is also stellar. Have fun with it.

You went for the honey/tortoise finish, which is like the one I have. It's really quite beautiful, isn't it?

My Yellowstone was my first "serious" mandolin. Picked it out after trying everything in my price range at Elderly a few years ago. Just a wonderful instrument.

Hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours as I have from mine.
