My MAS flares up when I play a mandolin so that won't help me. If I could stay out of music stores my MAS would stay in remission, I think, maybe.

Unfortunately, I know from personal experience that staying out of music stores is not sufficient to keep MAS in remission, not when there's the Internet (including the Café's classifieds!) with all of those on-line temptations available (including Craigslist).

No doubt about shopgoodwill helping control MAS. Just look at this "mandolin" they have listed. If the thought of owning it doesn't help send your MAS into remission then nothing will.

I find that MAS is hard to control while I'm looking at mandolins either in music stores or on-line, but then the reality-check of my bank account balances and the bills I owe, keeps my MAS in serious remission. Unfortunately. :-(
