Haha …. I see you understand. Good idea about eh uke. My Grandson, who lives here right now, loves the uke …. as well as Irish trad. It might encourage him to play with me more.

It would, especially if he can mirror your left hand on the TB by doing the same on the uke.

As occasionally is the case after reading/posting on the Café, I became inspired and dug out my plectrum--having not done so in 2-3 years--and became fully smtten. It's my new favorite thing. Now I have to go back to taking two banjos (!) Great classic sound--I like to swing and get a funkier/bluesier, and the repertoire is terrific, the rags are great on the long scale...makes me think piano more when I play
