I know Statman's well known as a Bluegrass picker, but I love his Klezmer mandolin and clarinet playing a lot.

Hey David McCarty - You are a lucky guy to have that mandolin. I've heard Andy play it several times and even got to play once and it was a big reason a bought the red oval hole Kimble 2 point (it's the next number after yours) that I've got listed in the classifieds for sale now. http://www.mandolincafe.com/ads/80084
My 2 point is a very cool mandolin but the oval hole sound just isn't me. Enjoy your new mandoln.
