    Hey all.
    I need help transposing Cluck Old Hen into G/F
    Any help would be great.

    I think you may have to give some more information. Do you mean from G into F?

    Well, if it IS from G-->F, that's everything down a whole step.

    G-->F
    D-->C
    C-->Bb
    A-->G

    And so forth.

    Or.......you can use a CAPO and really make it easy!

    There seem to be two tunes under that name on The Session website. Which one are you looking for, and are you dropping from G to F or raising from F to G? If you get the abc from this site there are programs such as abcEdit or EasyABC and others which do the transposing for you automatically and let you print out standard notation from the abc.

    Past the words with the chord symbols in, select the new key, and the program will go to work. You will have your new chart. Using copy and paste, you will have your new chart.

    Low tech I write out 2 columns on paper spelling the key signature / scale .

    1-g..f
    2-a..g
    3-b..a
    4-c..Bb
    5-d..c
    6-e..d
    7-F#.e
    8-g..f
